Hun Many Hails School Reopening as Positive Sign for the Kingdom

Kampong Speu: Chairman of the Seventh Committee of the National Assembly, Hun Many, has praised the Board of Governors, the leaders from the Department of Education, Youth and Sports for making the school reopening possible in the middle of the pandemic. He says, "The recent reopening of a number of schools across the country is a new positive sign." He has attributed this achievement to the correct implementation of the Royal Government's policy, especially in this time of Covid-19.

The Prime Minister's son has made his comment while leading a delegation of the National Assembly Committee on Education, Youth, Sports, Cults, Religious Affairs, Culture and Tourism in Kampong Speu province on Monday. The activity was aimed to check the teaching and learning situation in public and private educational institutions in the province.

He has highlighted the correct policy of the Royal Government, especially the implementation of the national vaccination campaign for people across the country to build immunity in the community for the kingdom's achievement in successfully reopening schools. As of Friday, the total number of vaccination including children aged six years and up are 12,950,149, equivalent to 80.94% of the total population of 16 million.
